Mini - Video tutorial
Model: Mini Mini
R60, Countryman1
- Years 2010-2016 The opening of the hood of the Mini Cabriolet takes place in two stages: in the first, an electric motor opens the section above the driver's head, in the second, a more powerful hydraulic motor moves the whole hood into the rear compartment. Should it be necessary to replace the electric motor, first of all it is necessary to remove the plastic protection of the central pillar, and we will thus have access to the motor housing. To remove the old one, it is necessary to disconnect the electrical wiring and unscrew the three Allen screws that fix it. We put the new engine back in place, tighten the screws, reconnect the contacts, and before closing the pillar cover again, check that the convertible top is working properly.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to reset the TPMS light of the Volkswagen Polo 2011The orange tire light indicates the presence of one or more tires with an inflation pressure below the recommended limit. All this is easily solved by inflating them correctly or replacing them in the event of a puncture. After carrying out these operations it is necessary to reset the warning light and therefore also the sensor in order to have new reading data. All you have to do is start the car ignition and then fully open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Locate the two buttons in the right corner and press "Set". At this point the reset is complete and you can turn off the ignition. by ScegliAuto More videos
