To reset the service light on the Mini Cooper, you can follow these general steps: Turn on the car and wait for all the lights on the dashboard to appear. Press and hold the "Trip" reset button (TRIP). While holding the reset button, turn the key in the ignition to the "On" position (without starting the engine) or press the start button without pressing the accelerator pedal. Continue holding the reset button. After a few seconds, a "Resetting" or "Reset" message should appear on the clock display or dashboard display. Release the reset button after seeing the reset message. Turn off the car and wait a few seconds. Turn the car back on and check if the service light has turned off.
