How to Replace the Reverse Light Bulb on a Mini Cooper

This video shows how to replace the reverse light bulb on a Mini Cooper produced from 2001 to 2007. You will need a few screwdrivers for this operation. First, unscrew three screws located beneath the rear bumper with a star screwdriver, then pull down and out on the bumper to open the access area for the bulb. Once the area is open, extract the bulb by pressing on the clips on the sides; at this point, the bulb housing will come forward. Now pull the bulb housing outwards, take the bulb, and gently rotate it counter-clockwise to remove it from the housing for replacement. Insert the new bulb by rotating it clockwise, close the housing, and reinsert it into the bumper, ensuring not to damage the clips. Refit the bumper and secure it by reinserting and tightening the three previously removed screws.
