How to replace the timing belt of the Mini Cooper.

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Timing belt

The replacement of the timing belt of the Mini Cooper model r56 is a somewhat complex operation to perform independently. We begin the replacement of the belt by opening the front hood and removing the right front wheel and its fender, then we lift the car. We continue by loosening the central nut of the tensioner pulley and then removing it, in order to reduce the tension on the belt and be able to remove it. We then proceed to remove it and insert a new one. We put everything back in tension and reassemble the fender and wheel, then we lower the vehicle.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
