Model: Mini Mini R57, R55, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Thermostat

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the thermostat in the Mini Cooper, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be completely cold, then we open the hood and remove both the filter box and the upper plastic cover. We then disconnect the various connectors indicated, release the cables from their respective supports, and continue by disconnecting the tubes connected to the thermostat. At this point, we can unscrew the fixing bolts of the valve, separate it from the engine, and follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement if necessary.
