Removing a Door Panel in All Its Parts

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Door trim panel

Don't know how to remove a car door panel? Let's see how to do it in this video. Pull out the plastic rivet as shown in the video, remove the round frame of the door pocket, and use a suitable spatula to apply careful pressure on the edges of the door trim. Extract the window switches from their housing and disconnect the motor connectors. Unscrew all the screws of the door panel, then gently slide the glass upwards to remove it from the top. Remove the flat rubber seals from the door and disconnect the door release lever, then take off the entire panel. Unscrew the lock from the screws along with all the attached wires. Now prepare to reinstall all the previously removed components in reverse order. Refit the lock with the door handle, window motor, door protector panel, glass, and various panels. Screw in all the respective securing screws, ensuring to reconnect all the electrical connectors.
