How do you activate the airbag in the Mini Cooper?

Model: Mini Mini R56, R55, R57 - Years 2007-2014

The passenger side airbag in the Mini Cooper, like all other cars, could malfunction due to a temporary issue with the sensor or the control unit. If this happens, the malfunction indicator light would remain on, so you need to reset it after making sure it is indeed a temporary error and the airbags are functioning properly. There are two ways to do this: disconnect and reconnect the sensor plug located under the passenger seat (see video), or locate the fuse in the fuse box and do the same process as mentioned above.
