Mini - Video tutorial
Model: Mini Mini
R55, R56, R57
- Years 2007-2014 Let's see in this video how to intervene on the replacement of the brake pads and the disc of a Mini. We place our car on a column bridge, we lift to a comfortable height to intervene. Unscrew the pins with a telescopic wrench or compressed air drill and remove the rim, then we begin to unscrew the brake caliper pins by detaching it from the support. With a screwdriver we remove the brake pads, now we remove the caliper support and we go to unscrew the pins on the disc brake (torx insert screwdriver), pull the disc towards us with our hands in order to remove it from the ruta hub. We clean and lubricate all parts for assembly. We assemble the new brake disc with all the pins attached, we tighten the caliper support to the disc and the new pads, then, we assemble the brake caliper, remembering to tighten all the pins well. Before mounting the rim, we bleed the brake caliper and we go to tighten the pin. Finally we assemble the circle with the pins.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to reset the tire pressure warning light on Dacia Sandero?Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal. by ScegliAuto More videos
