In this video, we see how to reset the service light on a Mitsubishi Outlander (but the same procedure also applies to the Lancer) MK2: with the instrument panel off, repeatedly press the button on the left side of the dashboard to display the service light on the display. Press and hold the button for about two seconds: at this point the indicator will flash, and while the LED is still flashing, release the button. After a moment, press the button again, wait for the service light to come on, and for the word "clear" to appear on the display. Wait for three seconds: the new maintenance interval will appear on the display, indicating that the light has been reset.
