How to Remove the Internal Fuse Box from a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Learn how to remove the internal fuse box from a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse. When working on a primary electrical system, it is always advisable to disconnect the battery before starting by removing the negative terminal. The fuse box is located on the left side of the cabin, under the dashboard, near the brake pedal. You will need to adjust the driver's seat all the way back and use a light to illuminate the area. Inside the fuse box, there are several connectors, each with a release mechanism to press or lift. As for the wires, they are often organised with nylon ties that secure them to the box or nearby supports. The box is secured to the frame with bolts or clips. Once everything is disconnected, the ties cut, the screws removed, and the clips released, you can take the box out of its housing.
