How to replace the oil filter and engine oil in a Mitsubishi Lancer

This video illustrates the steps to independently replace the oil filter and engine oil in a Mitsubishi Lancer produced from 2007 to 2014. The oil filter is located on the lower left side of the vehicle, so to access it, remove the left front wheel and place the vehicle on axle stands. Using a torque wrench for filter removal, unscrew the nut from the casing to remove it. After removing the filter, replace it and also change the rubber seal. To replace the oil, remove the nut from the oil sump and allow the oil to drain into a container. Once done, close the nut and lower the vehicle, but first, refit the left front wheel. The oil reservoir is located under the front bonnet near the water reservoir, so open the cap and pour in the new oil.
