To replace the button battery inside your Mitsubishi Outlander key, you only need a few simple steps. First, obtain a small cross-head screwdriver and remove the screw located at the top of the cover.

Once done, use a flat screwdriver to fully open the cover and access the exhausted battery. At this point, simply replace it with a new one that is fully compatible with your key model, and finally, reassemble the cover.
