In this video tutorial, you will see the steps to remove and replace the plastic panel of the rear tailgate of the Mitsubishi Pajero and Montero. First, open the rear tailgate and start by removing the side plastic trims of the tailgate.

Then, lever the sides of the panel to detach and remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, you can access the boot lock, replacing it if necessary; then refit the rear tailgate panel by applying the reverse procedure!
