Regularly replacing the air filter that supplies the injection system of the Mitsubishi Space Star helps the engine breathe better and keeps fuel consumption in check. To proceed, open the bonnet of the engine compartment. Locate the air filter housing in the centre of the compartment, unclip the two metal clips on the left side of the box, and open the cover. Remove the old filter element, clean the inside with a vacuum cleaner, insert the new filter ensuring the rubber edge fits well, replace the cover by inserting the tabs into their slots and closing the metal clips.
