The periodic replacement of the air filter that feeds the injection system of the Mitsubishi Space Star allows the engine to breathe better and keep fuel consumption under control. To proceed with the operation, we open the hood of the engine compartment. We find the filter box in the center of the compartment, release the two metal clips on the left side of the box and open the cover. We remove the old filter element, clean the inside with a vacuum cleaner, insert the new filter making sure the rubber edge adheres well, put the cover back on by first inserting the tabs into the slots and closing the metal clips.
