Removing the Load Bed Cover from the Bodywork

Removing the cover for structural modification is straightforward. Start by undoing the bolts of the side hooks with a ratchet spanner and remove the entire plastic cover. Use a jigsaw to cut along the sloping edge around the perimeter of the cover. Make vertical cuts at the sides to create shapes, taper the cut edge to remove plastic debris, and round it off to avoid sharp edges. Refit the cover onto the load bed so that the side edges tuck under the metal edge. This operation keeps the metal edge of the load bed free.
