Be careful that as soon as you remove the old struts, the tailgate will practically 'drop', so if possible, get someone to help support it. Use a flat screwdriver to remove the old struts from their housing, and give a good spray of WD-40 to lubricate the seat, followed by a light coating of grease on all four ball heads.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
