How to change the fuel pump on a Nissan X-trail

In this video we can see how to change the fuel pump of a Nissan X-trail: the pump is located under the rear seat, which is easy to remove thanks to a small strap that can be easily pulled towards us to lift the seat. Underneath we find a sort of hatch, which has four screws on the sides. We will carefully remove them and underneath we find our pump. We disconnect the electrical connector, remove the fuel supply hose and then, using a lever, unscrew the cover. We lift the pump, and keep a container handy to drain the diesel, or the car will smell bad forever! In the meantime, we will have obtained the new pump, for example on AliExpress with the code 1005008337472372 at a price of 41.29 euros + delivery costs of 30.28 euros. All that's left is to reassemble it in its place and close everything up.
