In this article, we will see how to replace the fuel pump of the 2005 Nissan X Trail. To perform this operation, a flathead screwdriver will be necessary. To replace the fuel pump, you need to open the rear door on the driver's side, remove the seat by pulling the lever once the seat is removed, remove the cover carpet. Now you will have access to the fuel pump compartment, unscrew the 4 fixing screws of the cover block to remove it, now you will have access to the fuel pump compartment, remove the cover by levering with the screwdriver and then rotating the cover to remove it, at this point you will have access to the fuel pump, remove the old filter and install the new filter, then close everything back up.
