How to Replace the Window Regulator on a Nissan Micra

To replace the window regulator on a Nissan Micra, fully lower the glass and remove the inner door panel: take out the visible screws, unclip the clips using a plastic lever, and disconnect any electrical connectors for the controls. Remove the plastic cover or insulating sheet that covers the inside of the door. Unclip the glass from the regulator, usually secured with bolts or clamps, and lift the glass to a safe position. Disconnect the electric motor from the regulator if integrated. Unscrew the bolts that secure the regulator to the door and remove it. Position the new regulator in the same housing, secure the bolts, and reconnect the electric motor. Reinsert the glass into the new regulator, check the correct movement, reassemble the cover and the door panel, reconnect the electrical controls, and restore all screws.
