How to Remove the Front Door Pillar Trim on a Nissan Qashqai J11

Learn how to remove the front door pillar trim on a Nissan Qashqai J11: lower the window of the door and push the seat back as far as possible. Locate the clips; look for small holes. With a torch, you should see the tip of the clip (there are 2/3 for each pillar). Ideally, use a long, thin pick, but a very small screwdriver will also work. Insert the pick into the hole and hook the tip of the clip, which you will rotate 90° counterclockwise to unlock it. Do not pull on the pillar before rotating all the clips, as you may break them. Even when you are sure you have removed them all, do not pull forcefully.
