How to change the battery in a Nissan Micra

Model: Nissan Micra K13 - Years 2010-2017

To replace the battery in a Nissan Micra, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay, generally on the right side when facing the vehicle. Using an appropriate spanner, first disconnect the negative (-) terminal and then the positive (+) terminal. Unscrew the bolt of the fixing bracket and remove it to free the battery. Carefully lift out the used battery. Position the new battery in the same housing, ensuring it is stable. Refit the fixing bracket and tighten the bolt. Reconnect the positive (+) terminal first and then the negative (-) terminal, ensuring they are tight. Close the bonnet and start the engine to check proper operation.
