How to Remove the Diesel Filter on a Nissan Qashqai

Here’s how to remove the diesel filter located in the engine bay of a Nissan Qashqai. Lift the car on a column lift (jack), and locate the diesel filter. Remove the plastic covers of the filter (if present), then, using a spanner, unscrew the retaining bolts of the filter (you can also use a socket spanner) located near the diesel container. Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the associated diesel filter container (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the bonnet after reassembly.
