How to Reset the Service Light on a Nissan Note

Model: Nissan Note E11, MK 1 - Years 2004-2013

To reset the service light on a Nissan Note, use the trip meter button following a precise sequence. After completing the service, close all doors and the bonnet, insert the key, and turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Within about five seconds of turning on the ignition, press and hold the trip meter reset button, located under the speedometer on the right side. When the maintenance interval or wrench icon starts to flash, release the button and press it again once. The new maintenance interval will be stored automatically. Then, turn off the ignition and turn it back on to check that the service light has been reset correctly.
