How to Replace the Nissan Kicks Key Fob Battery

Today, you will learn how to independently replace the battery in the Nissan Kicks key fob. Many Nissan key fobs include a metal emergency key that allows you to access the vehicle and start it when the fob is dead. To replace the battery, you must first remove the key from inside; therefore, slide the lever on the back of the fob to remove it. Next, using a flathead screwdriver, pry the fob apart and replace the battery by inserting the positive side down. The model you will use is the CR 2032, 3-volt battery. After replacing the battery, close the two halves and slide the metal emergency key back inside.
