Replacing the Key Battery on a Nissan

Model: Nissan Micra K13 - Years 2010-2017

To replace the battery in the remote, first remove the metal key from inside the remote (press the release tab). Using a flathead screwdriver, gently separate the two halves of the remote by prying on the side tabs. Once open, access the battery and replace it with one of the same specifications. Reposition the two halves of the remote until they align, applying slight pressure until you hear a click of locking. Insert the metal key back into its slot until it locks in place, and you are done.
