Replacing the Key Battery on a Nissan Micra

Replacing the key battery on a Nissan Micra is extremely simple, and we will demonstrate it now. Obtain a small flathead screwdriver and leverage it in the side slot of the key casing (remote). This will allow you to split the remote into two halves, as shown in the video: one half will contain the internal chip and the other the battery in question. This battery is a CR2032, the most commonly used currently, and can be easily found in large supermarkets or hardware stores. Replace it and reassemble the remote simply by pressing it back together.
