How to Replace the Key Battery of a Nissan Micra

Model: Nissan Micra K12 - Years 2002-2010

Begin by pressing the button located at the bottom of the key of your Nissan Micra. This will free the lower section of the key, which you can then unclip and remove. Next, using a small flathead screwdriver and applying leverage, unclip the rear cover of the key. Once the rear cover is removed, you will access the exhausted battery, which you can unclip and remove, completing the disassembly. To fit the new battery and close the key, simply repeat these few steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
