How to Replace the Remote Key Battery on a Nissan Micra

Need to replace the battery in your Nissan Micra key? Here’s how to do it. Take your remote key and unscrew the tiny screw on the key cover, then use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Once the key is open, remove the worn battery. Replace it with a new battery of the same type and voltage. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing it until you hear it click into place. Check the proper functioning of the remote key. Screw the securing screw back into the plastic of the Nissan key.
