Replacing the Remote Key Battery on a Micra

Is the remote key battery flat? Let's see how to replace it in a Nissan Micra remote key. Take your remote key and with a screwdriver, unscrew the tiny screw on the key cover, then remove the metal key and use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Extract the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the remote key cover. Reinsert the metal key into the key cover. Check the correct operation of the remote key once the replacement is complete.
