How to Remove the EGR Valve from a Nissan X-Trail

Model: Nissan X Trail MK 2, T31 - Years 2007-2014

Before you begin, open the bonnet of your Nissan X-Trail. Start by disconnecting the positive terminal of the battery to work safely. Next, remove the engine cover. After that, unscrew and remove the two bolts of the electrical connector near the EGR valve using a ten-millimetre spanner, then remove the hose. This will give you access to the EGR valve. Proceed to unscrew the bolts securing it, then disconnect everything attached to it. Once this step is complete, you can remove the valve, and you will have finished the disassembly.
