How to Remove the Rear Light on Nissan X-Trail

Remove the lower optical group structure by taking off the two 10mm bolts as shown in the video. Now, remove the light unit manually, which is pressed into the frame, without damaging it. Paradoxically, this is the most difficult part: use a plastic trim tool (NOT METAL!) to dislodge the light unit. At this point, with the light unit in hand (you might disconnect the cable for better access), remove the affected bulb and insert the new one. Before reinserting the light unit structure, grease the three pins to facilitate future removal. Fit it back into the frame and replace the two bolts.
