Complete Disassembly of Front Headlamp

Model: Nissan Almera N16, MK 2 - Years 2000-2008
Part: Headlight bulb

To completely disassemble the front lighting unit, open the bonnet and remove the two screws that secure the headlamp at the bonnet side and the third one laterally. Carefully pull the headlamp unit out of its housing. Remove the protective cap and then the connector for the electrical cables. Remove the lamp retaining spring by gently pulling it to detach it from the lamp holder. Install the new lamp without touching the glass bulb with your hands. Refit the lamp holder into its respective housing and reposition the headlamp unit in its housing, closing the plastic cap first and securing it with the two retainers.
