Ad Blue has become a necessary additive for fuel combustion in new Euro 6 and Euro 6+ diesel vehicles. It is a simple mixture of urea and other compounds that significantly reduce emissions from new diesel cars. Normally, with a 10-litre refill of Ad Blue, you can travel up to about 3,700 miles, so it is very important to refill when the light comes on, even if you can still drive many miles. To eliminate the Ad Blue warning light, you will need to top up the fluid. Open the fuel flap and, using the supplied nozzle, top up the Ad Blue liquid with the engine off. Once restarted, the car will automatically turn off the warning light.
