How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Nissan Qashqai

First, obtain a flathead screwdriver; then open the door and insert the screwdriver into the hole located behind the steering wheel as shown in the video. Turn the steering wheel to allow you to loosen and disconnect the airbag from the steering wheel. Next, disconnect the airbag's electrical connector. Once the airbag is removed, use a socket to unscrew the central support that holds the steering wheel in place. Then, take a crosshead screwdriver to remove the screws securing the control unit.
