How to Reset the Oil Light on a Nissan Frontier?

Model: Nissan Frontier D40 - Years 1997-2021

Start by turning on the ignition and wait about three seconds. Note: in the video, the procedure is explained with the ignition off first, and then it is actually performed with the ignition on! Don't be misled; turn on the ignition before pressing the pedals! Once done, press the accelerator pedal fully five times. This should take about 5 seconds total. Wait another seven seconds, then press the accelerator pedal down again and hold it for at least ten seconds. When you see the light on the dashboard flashing, you can start the engine: the oil light will turn off after a few seconds.
