As the YouTuber shows in the video, never touch the bulbs with bare hands, only use disposable gloves, as touching them with bare hands would significantly shorten their lifespan. To avoid damaging the number plate light covers, use plastic spatulas. Apply upward pressure to remove the cover. Once the cover is off, the bulb remains. Just pull it out to remove it. Insert the new one. It has no polarity, so it doesn't matter which way you fit it. You can close it up and replace the cover. Repeat with the other cover, and the operation is complete.
