Changing the common fog light bulbs with LED ones, which are much more efficient, is not difficult. Working from underneath the car, remove the protective bulkhead by undoing the side screws that hold the panels in place and the central bolt that holds the two halves together. Now, still working from the bottom of the car, we use a lamp that allows us to see inside. Remove the plug from the headlight and gently unscrew the bulb holder by a quarter turn. This will allow us to extract it easily. Now let's replace it with the Led one. Remember that the LED bulb has a protective cap, which must be removed during installation. We remove the attachment from the LED lamp, an attachment that we will insert before the bulb in its housing of the lighthouse, in order to be able to perform the installation more comfortably. Once this operation has been done, we can insert the bulb, after having correctly attached the plug of the lamp to its control unit. We recommend keeping this piece attached to its wires with insulating tape and a zip tie, so that it doesn't hit other components with the risk of being damaged. Reassemble the rear panel from the side where you have already worked, always starting with the external screw. Now you can proceed in the same way for the other fog light.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
