How to Install LED Bulbs in the Fog Lights of a Nissan Qashqai

Changing the standard bulbs in the fog lights to more efficient LED ones is not difficult. Working from underneath the vehicle, remove the protective cover by unscrewing the side screws that hold the panels and the central bolt that joins the two halves. Now, still working from underneath, use a lamp to see inside. Disconnect the fog light connector and gently unscrew the bulb holder with a quarter turn. This will allow you to easily extract it. Now, replace it with the LED bulb. Remember that the LED bulb has a protective cap that must be removed during installation. Remove the connector from the LED bulb, which you will insert before the bulb into its housing for easier installation. After this, insert the bulb, ensuring the fog light connector is properly attached to its control unit. It is advisable to secure this piece to its wires with insulating tape and a tie wrap to prevent it from hitting other components and getting damaged. Refit the rear panel on the side where you have already worked, starting with the outer screw. Now you can proceed in the same way for the other fog light.
