Replacing the diesel filter is a fairly straightforward operation, but it is recommended to handle the pipes connected to the filter with utmost care and delicacy, as they are rigid and could be easily damaged. The filter is located just behind the coolant reservoir, and you should start by unscrewing the fastening nuts of the plate surrounding the filter to remove it. Then press the clips that secure the various pipes to the filter and detach them, also releasing the support tabs of the priming pump for better manoeuvrability; then remove the pin to take off the other pipes, loosen the filter's fastening clip to complete its removal, and apply it to the new one before reconnecting all the pipes and repeatedly pressing the priming pump to fill the filter before starting the engine.
