To replace the diesel filter in a Nissan Qashqai, open the bonnet to access the right side of the engine compartment. Here, next to the windscreen washer reservoir, you will find the diesel filter: it can be removed from its housing after completely disconnecting the hoses and unscrewing all its securing bolts.

This will allow you to slide out the old filter and insert a new replacement: once inserted, connect it to the hoses and secure it with the bolts.
