The fuel filter, specifically for petrol, on a Nissan Micra is located under the front bonnet on top of the engine. The filter's job is to catch all impurities to prevent them from reaching the engine. For this reason, it is very important to replace it at least once a year. To replace the filter, open the front bonnet and unscrew the filter cap by first using a spanner for the nut and then your hands. Remove the old filter and insert the new one. Close the front bonnet after the replacement.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
