Operation: Air filter replacement for the Nissan Note.

One of the operations included in the Nissan Note's service is the replacement of the air filter that feeds the engine; by doing this, we will allow optimal fuel combustion and keep fuel consumption under control. To do this, we open the hood of the engine compartment, we will find the filter box to the left of the battery. We disconnect the inlet tube, open the cover by releasing the metal clips that hold it, remove the old filter element and replace it with a new filter. We insert the cover and lock it with its clips, and put the inlet tube back in place. If the roads we drive on are particularly dusty, we should anticipate the replacement time.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat.
