How to Replace Rear Shock Absorbers

Model: Nissan X Trail MK 2, T31 - Years 2007-2014

First, place the car on a ramp and raise it to a comfortable working height. Remove the rear wheel corresponding to the shock absorber to be replaced. Spray lubricant on the screws and bolts to be unscrewed. Place a hydraulic jack under the wheel to relieve tension on the shock absorber. Unscrew the bolts that secure the shock absorber, both at the bottom and at the top, in its position. Remove the shock absorber and replace it with the new one. To install it, repeat the operations seen by following the reverse procedure. Refit the wheel and lower the car using the ramp. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Nissan X-Trail.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
