Operation: How to replace the rear shock absorbers.

First of all, put the car on the bridge and raise it to a comfortable height to work on it. Remove the rear wheel corresponding to the shock absorber to be replaced. Spray some lubricant on the screws and bolts to be unscrewed. Place a hydraulic jack under the wheel to de-energize the shock absorber. Unscrew the bolts that lock the shock absorber, at the bottom and in the head, in its position. Remove the shock absorber and replace it with the new one. To mount it, repeat the above operations following the reverse procedure. Refit the wheel and lower the car via the bridge. The maintenance operation that is performed in the images is carried out on a Nissan X-Trail.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
