How to Replace Rear Shock Absorbers

First, place the car on a ramp and raise it to a comfortable working height. Remove the rear wheel corresponding to the shock absorber to be replaced.

Spray lubricant on the screws and bolts to be unscrewed. Place a hydraulic jack under the wheel to relieve tension on the shock absorber.

Unscrew the bolts that secure the shock absorber, both at the bottom and at the top, in its position. Remove the shock absorber and replace it with the new one. To install it, repeat the operations seen by following the reverse procedure.

Refit the wheel and lower the car using the ramp. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Nissan X-Trail.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
