Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Nissan X-Trail. Begin by removing the plastic trim around the central instruments by simply pulling to release the internal clips.

This will reveal the screws that secure the instruments, which you need to unscrew and remove. At this point, you can pull out the instruments just enough to reach and disconnect the rear connectors and cables.

Once you have completed this step, you can remove the instruments, successfully finishing the disassembly.
