How to Reset the Service Reminder on a Nissan Note

To reset the service reminder on a Nissan Note, follow these general steps: Sit in the driver's seat and ensure all doors are closed. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position. Do not start the engine. Locate the trip meter reset button, which is usually found on the instrument cluster. Press and hold the trip meter reset button while turning the ignition key to the "OFF" position. While still holding the trip meter reset button, turn the ignition key back to the "ON" position. Continue holding the trip meter reset button for about 10 seconds until the maintenance light starts flashing or the display shows that the reset procedure is complete. The exact method may vary depending on the model year and version of the Nissan Note. Release the trip meter reset button. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition. Start the engine to ensure that the service reminder has been reset.
