Replacing the stereo in a Nissan Note with a working one is a straightforward task that you can carry out independently. The first step is to lift the cover of the upper compartment to unscrew the two fixing screws. The second step is to remove the lower cover of the radio to take out the two lower screws. The third step is to extract the stereo, including the central dashboard unit, and disconnect the connector. The fourth step is to unscrew the central dashboard from the back and attach it to the new radio. The fifth step is to connect the connector and insert the new, working radio into its housing. Finally, reattach the upper and lower fixing screws.
