To change the engine oil on an Opel Mokka, start by parking the vehicle on a flat surface and ensure that the engine is warm, but not excessively hot, to facilitate the oil drainage. Lift the car with a jack and place axle stands for safety.

Under the engine, find the oil sump plug, position a collection tray underneath it, and unscrew the plug with a spanner. Allow the old oil to flow completely into the tray.

Once the draining is complete, securely reattach the oil sump plug. Then, remove the oil filler cap located in the engine bay and pour in the new oil, following the quantity and type recommended by the car's manual.

Finally, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then turn it off and check for any leaks under the vehicle.
