Today we will see the necessary steps to carry out the ordinary maintenance check, replacing the engine oil and oil filter of the Opel Mokka 1.6 CDTi. First, we lift the vehicle and start by unscrewing the oil drain plug, located on the oil pan, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, we unscrew the oil filter cartridge, which we find next to the oil pan, and replace the filter with the new original one; we screw the filter by hand and then tighten it with the correct torque. Finally, we top up with the new engine oil!
