In this video tutorial, we will follow useful tips that will allow us to remove the timing chain from an Opel Mokka 1.6 CDTi. First, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheels, taking out the left-hand drive shaft: the timing chain is located on the left side of the gearbox. Next, remove the auxiliary belt and take off the pulleys to access the timing side; then identify all reference marks on the pulley and chain before removing and replacing the timing chain.
