To reset the automatic gearbox on an Opel Astra, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port, located on the dashboard just below the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, select the car model and its corresponding version.

By selecting the error that prevents unlocking the gearbox, you can clear it as shown in the video; at the end of the procedure, disconnect the scanner to unlock the gearbox.
