Today's instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the gear knob and gear lever gaiter of the Opel Astra, in simple steps. First, we get into the car and start by detaching the gear lever gaiter from the base, levering on the sides; then we lift the gaiter and pull the gear knob upwards with force, detaching it along with the gaiter, as shown in the video.

At this point, we install the new gear knob, inserting the gaiter first and then securing the knob on the lever; make sure it is firmly attached to the gear lever!
